Hello, new friends! It’s Chrissy Percy coming at you! I am a single mother here in Chattanooga, TN. I have two beautiful children Brooklyn and Cruz! They are my world! I love them as Big as the sky!!! Chattanooga has always been home and I graduated from UTC back in 2003. Man that sounds like a long time! My whole life I have been passionate about Non Profit and serving others! While at UTC, I was a part of the Alpha Delta Pi Sorority. Our philanthropy is the Ronald McDonald House Charities! I have helped raise money for years for our local house. Over the years I have also helped raise money for the kidney foundation, various cancer charities, epilepsy foundations amongst many other charities! I have also served on the board at the Junior League of Chattanooga where we raise money for teachers in Hamilton County. I just love people and I love to give! I can’t always give money, but I love to give of my time! Fast forward a few years, well a lot of years! My daughter, Brooklyn was diagnosed with cancer last August 1st. It was the worst news I’ve ever received, but we’ve done it! We are doing it! I get to share more in the podcast! Stay tuned! Brooklyn is back in school this year in 2nd grade! My son, Cruz is in 1st grade! They love their school! Let’s say momma does too! In fact, I’ve become the PTL President and Fundraiser Coordinator! We just wrapped up our annual Fun Run with the most money raised to date! I am super proud of our kids and parents! I love to exercise, dance, sing and be outdoors! I rarely get to do those things because I am always busy with the next event! Events for school and work! Let’s not forget all the kids activities! I am truly blessed by so many around us! So many who have encouraged us and prayed for us! It means everything to me! All the gifts and money sent could never be repaid but we are forever grateful! I have an amazing family who have given amazing support and love!!! I have an incredible fiancé who has stood by me through all of this! I love his heart! He has not only loved me well but my kids! I love his family and our new doggie Kobe! I’m just a simple girl and so thankful that God has allowed me to share our story! Brooklyn is Brave! Brooklyn is Strong! A dad once told me while we were at the hospital in Florida, everything you do your whole life brings you to where you are now. You are made for now! Love hard and give often!
Also, I just found out I'm a perfect match to be a kidney donor! I am super pumped!!!
