Host of The Conversing Nurse podcast, retired RN

Hi! I'm Michelle, a retired registered nurse with 36 years of Pediatric and NICU care experience. For the last 11 years, I was a development and lactation specialist for the NICU. It was my absolute joy to work with sick and premature infants and their families in this critical time of their lives. The year before I retired, I knew I would have a tough time transitioning from the nursing profession and began planning to start a podcast about, surprise, nurses! There are a multitude of amazing nurses from many different specialties and they each bring their unique experience. My podcast launched in the summer of 2022 and it's been a blast hearing and learning about nursing from others' perspectives. I also enjoy reading and making handmade cards. Oh, and sarcasm.
